Barista: "A small one today! Why the change?"
Me: "Well the two most likely answers are
because I'm running out of money
or
because I'm trying to lose weight.
Both subjects aren't really ones people want to talk about in small talk with strangers.
Anyway in this case I want a small one for both reasons."
Barista: "Well, have a nice day."
